UofL Graduate Student Appreciation Week gives us an opportunity to recognize and celebrate graduate students while supporting their continued success. Whether it be by hosting coffee breaks or lunches, sharing snacks or tokens of appreciation, all offices and departments on both the Belknap and HSC campuses are welcome to participate in the week's festivities.

All Graduate Students – Graduate School 5 Hours of Movement Challenge: Time to get moving! Join the graduate student community in balancing all that focused research and writing work with some movement and/or outdoor time. Complete five hours of walking* between Monday, October 7 and Friday, October 11!

| Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences faculty will be holding a raffle for students Monday-Friday evening as well as bringing in various snacks, food and beverages throughout the week for all Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychology graduate students to enjoy in the department lounge. |

| Graduate School Coffee with the Deans – All graduate students are invited to attend Coffee with the Deans to speak with the deans of the graduate school in a casual atmosphere while celebrating YOU! Whether you’re tackling a thesis or dissertation, conducting a literature review, developing a data management plan, or starting to think about publishing your work, our librarians are here to provide expert guidance and support. Drop in, fuel up, and level up your research game! For all graduate students from 11am-1pm at the Research Assistance Office in Ekstrom Library! |
| Coffee and Donuts!, The MEPN program at the School of Nursing will be providing coffee and donuts for MEPN students. It will be held from 11:30am-12:30pm on the second floor of the school of nursing building! |
| We are FRUITY about our students!, The School of Public Health and Information Sciences will have fruit available for pick-up in Student Services Office-013 for all Public Health graduate students from 12-4pm. |
| School of Music Graduate Students Drop-in Social, Stop by the School of Music for snacks with the DGS and other graduate students from 1:30-3pm at MB 110. |
| $5 Bowling Night, The Graduate Student Council is hosting $5 Bowling Night at Executive Strike & Spare (911 Phillips Ln) on Monday, October 7th from 7-9pm. GSC has reserved 20 lanes for all graduate students, so bring $5 for your shoe rental and join for a fun night of bowling! |

In this session, you will learn more about what mentors have to say about how to best “manage” them, from communication suggestions to practical advice for making progress.
