Check In and Connect Professional Development Series

The Check-In and Connect program is a series of workshops and opportunities open to all graduate students. The series covers topics and themes related to the experiences and development of students from diverse backgrounds. Topics can include culturally relevant research methodologies, inclusive pedagogy, managing imposter syndrome, navigating microaggressions, health disparities, negotiating salary and others.  

Programs that fall under the Check-In and Connect include workshops, panels, guest speakers, and other engagement opportunities.
