Join the Graduate School for an unforgettable evening as we recognize and honor the remarkable achievements of our underrepresented graduate students. The "Celebration of Excellence" highlights the resilience, hard work, and outstanding scholarly achievements of those who have completed their master's or doctoral degree or reached doctoral candidacy for the current academic year. This special event also welcomes the individuals and community members - family, friends, professors, mentors, and others - who have supported students on their journey to this milestone.
The Celebration of Excellence is open to anyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion, or disability. The University of Louisville does not discriminate on the basis of any identity. However, the Celebration of Excellence’s overall goal remains to elevate marginalized experiences in graduate education and provide a space for such experiences to be recognized. Attendees are encouraged to support the elevation of all student voices and experiences.
