Graduate Teaching Academy: The Graduate Teaching Academy is designed to assist Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) to develop knowledge, skills, and excellence in classroom teaching. Students must apply in August for the Graduate Teaching Academy. The academy meets once a month and covers such topics as test development and item analysis, classroom assessment techniques and active learning, and classroom management techniques. Subjects may vary from year to year.
